英语角（第50期）|Move on, My Pal

2020年12月30日下午，我校品牌外语活动——英语演讲角（speakers’ corner）在孔子广场如期举行。本期主题为 “Move on, my pal”(知心相惜，励志同行)。来自高2019级15班的舒一；3班的舒灵霄；11班的巫兴儒，盛蓉茜，罗姝晗；11班的张海冕；13班的高子轲共7名同学参加了此次活动。

When you fail to work out a mathematical problem, move on, my pals! When you tend to forget historical facts, move on, my pals! When you struggle to master grammar, move on, my pals! Whatever happens, I’ll be by your side, offering you the support and encouragement you need most!

当你解不出数学题，加油吧，朋友！当你记不住历史事件，加油吧，朋友！当你学不懂语法，加油吧，朋友！不管发生什么，我都在你身旁，给你最需要的支持和鼓励。

As long as there are friends around us, we have courage to move on.   We move on together and face difficulties together.

只要有朋友在我们身边，我们就有勇气继续前行。我们一起共同进步，一起共度难关。

If you are experiencing a hard time right now, please remind yourself that you are not always alone on your life journey, your friends will always show up and help you make it.

如果你也正经历艰难的时期，请记住，在人生的旅程中你绝非孤身一身，你的朋友一定会陪你走出阴霾

At the shore of vast life, you should proudly tell the world that you have pursued your dream, you have fought for your ambition, you have never given up hope for a brilliant life.

在浩瀚的生命之岸，你应该骄傲的告诉世界：你追求过，你奋斗过，你从来没有放弃对美好生活的期望。

If you don't work hard today，there is no hope for tomorrow！ When tomorrow comes，it becomes today...Tomorrow and tomorrow，how many tomorrows！So we must size today！.

如果今天不努力，何来明日的希望！当明天到来时时候，它又变成了今天......明日复明日，明日何其多！所以，我们必须把握今天！把握当下！

It matters to have someone beside because no matter where we are, we indeed need much support! It is encouragement that helps us take every step of life well; it is encouragement that relieves us from the dilemma; it is encouragement that builds up our confidence to face the unknown of life. So move on, my pal, I will always be your side.
有人陪伴很重要，因为无论我们身在何处，我们确实都需要大力支持！鼓舞可以帮助我们走好生活中的每一步；鼓舞可以使我们摆脱困境；鼓舞可以树立我们面对生活未知的信心。继续前进，我的朋友，我将永远在你身边。

He has met too many stars so far, but there is only one moon in his heart forever. Whether it's success or failure, he won't have any regrets. After all, he's done his best, hasn't it?

他至今遇见过无数颗星星，但他始终只心动一个月亮。无论成功与否，他都将不留遗憾。毕竟，他已经尽力了，不是吗？
